Not to rewrite what has already been written but here is a quick exposure to a not so new tech known as VAWT or Vertical Axis Wind Turbines. First I am no engineer so I cannot refute or support the claims in the article that I am going to link but it has peaked my interest.

So VAWTs are not superior? Is that what I get from the article? So all forms of wind energy suck then? They are only profitable by government subsidizing. Boo.
